Meet Dr. Hill
Dr. Steven J. Hill was born in Ft. Ord, California. As the son of an army officer, he traveled extensively as a child and had the pleasure of calling places like California, Washington state and D.C., Colorado, and especially Texas, home. He attended the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington where he graduated with a degree in Biology in 1984. Following graduation, he attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he graduated with his DDS degree in 1988. After earning his DDS degree, Dr. Hill completed an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio. While in dental school and residency, Dr. Hill performed extensive research in microbiology. At the completion of his training, Dr. Hill moved his family to Lubbock and started a practice limited to Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 1994. He has been proud to call Lubbock and the South Plains his home ever since.
As a dedicated husband and father, Dr. Hill has many interests outside of Oral Surgery. He enjoys running, fly-fishing and watching his son play basketball. Dr. Hill enjoys watching Texas Tech basketball and football and is a proud supporter of Texas Tech football.
